| The East
Hampton Visual Arts Festival was conceived by Lou Stevens and
Gerry Giliberti
to bring international,
national and local artists together at historic Ashawagh Hall in
Springs, East Hampton. The video displays the digitized work of
over thirty artists juried by photography dealer and collector
Stephen T. Rose. The sound track is composed of original percussion
music written and performed by Stevens and Giliberti. Available
in VHS or DVD $15 plus $3 shipping. |
The EHVAF was held again
in 1996 and 52 pieces of work by 35 artists were juried by Mary
Jean Huntley of the Philadelphia Museum
of
Art. This
time
out art critic Sheridan Sansegundo of the East Hampton Star narrates
over the digitized imagery while
Stevens
and Giliberti perform fresh original percussion pieces for the sound

Suffolk
County Film Com-mission: Best Experimental Video Award. Stevens
and Giliberti created a unique video featuring circular images
and Mandelas created by Stevens and captured on video by Giliberti.
