Join EEPG member Alex Vignoli and his brother, the international painter, Fernando Vignoli at the Grand Opening this Saturday, November 24th at the new Vignoli Studio Gallery on Main Street in Sag Harbor. If you haven’t been to one of Alex and Fernando’s openings in the past then you have to come and check out the party this weekend.p>

International Digital Art Competition |

Juried competition for digital art and photography. Entrants submit three JPEG files of original work. All styles of 2D artwork and photography where digital processes of any kind were integral to the creation of the images are acceptable.

The selected winner recieves 10 prints up to 44×60 inches on canvas or museum quality paper (approximately a $1500-$2000 value) to be shown in a solo exhibition in our main gallery from January 10-February 1, 2008. The show will be widely promoted and will include a reception for the artist.
Second place prizes: Five second place winners will receive one print of their work up to 24×36 inches ($150-$200 in value) to be included in upcoming group shows. Second place winners will be scheduled into group shows within twelve months of announcement of winners.
Consideration is given to placing these works in shows appropriate to their style, genre and/or content. These shows will be widely promoted and will include a reception for the artists.
Special consideration will be given to all entrants for inclusion in future shows at LACDA. Many entrants from past competitions have already been included in our exhibits.
Deadline for entries: December 5, 2007
Winners announced: December 18, 2007
Winners exhibit: January 10-February 1, 2008
Registration fee is $30US (three images).
Multiple entries permitted, additional $30 entry fee for each three images.

Marilyn Stevenson Exhibitions |

Marilyn Stevenson has begun a collaboration with Bloomingdale’s in their Artrageous Event. On Sept. 5. 2007, Bloomingdale’s launched a storewide showcase for contemporary art and creative talent, evolving for 16 weeks.
Marilyn has 22 photographs that were selected for hanging at this event. These works will be at the Bloomingdale’s location in Willowbrook, 3 Willowbrook Blvd., Wayne, N.J.
Marilyn is also exhibiting in the annual invitational exhibit “Celebracion” at The Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock, Texas Oct.16- Dec. 7, 2007.
Marilyn has three pieces of her Green River Series in a juried exhibit “Picturing Communities”. This exhibit is at the Penn Charter School , Philadelphia, PA. Oct-Nov., 2007
Marilyn is also participating in 2007 Blank Canvas Benefit: “For Arts Sake” at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey,
68 Elm St. Summit, NJ through Dec. 8th.

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to apply, an artist must be:
A U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident
At least 25 years old
A working artist with at least five years of professional experience
Eligible for 2007–08 Grants:
Film/Video may include experimental documentary, animation, experimental film or video,
non-traditional narrative, installation, and interdisciplinary projects.
Visual Arts may include painting, sculpture, works on paper, installation, photo-based work,
contemporary crafts, public art, and interdisciplinary projects.
